Conor White Joins UK Cycling Team
Bermuda cyclist Conor White has joined the Muc-Off Scott Redding Cycling Team [SRCT] in England.
“We have the Caribbean TT champion and Pan Am games Time-Trial Bronze Medallist Conor White joining the team!” SRCT posted on social media.
“Fresh from his recent time at the World TT and Gravel Championships we look forward to seeing what the Bermudan can do on the European roads.”
A description of the team’s website reads: “We’re not just a cycling team – we provide our riders with a unique opportunity to race an international race programme giving each rider the support they need to develop and become the best they can be.
“The team owner and World Super Bike rider Scott Redding established the team in 2021 with a few close friends. The team is rapidly growing with the support of some great partners.
“The focus of the team is criterium racing; however, we still have a very varied race programme, which aims to give everyone on the team a good level of racing throughout the season.”
White, the island’s Male Athlete of the Year, represented Bermuda at the UCI World Cycling Championships in Zurich, Switzerland, in September.
