GSP To Host Grief & Loss Awareness Day
The Gina Spence Program will be hosting a Grief and Loss Awareness Day event on Friday, March 7th on the front steps of City Hall.
A spokesperson said, “The Gina Spence Program announced Bermuda’s first-ever Grief and Loss Awareness Day, taking place on Friday, March 7th, 2025, from 12 PM to 2 PM on the front steps of City Hall. This historic event invites the entire community to come together in support of those navigating grief and loss.
“The official color for Grief and Loss Awareness in Bermuda is orange, symbolizing hope and healing. We invite everyone to join us in wearing orange on this special day as we ‘Paint the City Orange’ in solidarity.
“Attendees can look forward to an inspiring mix of local entertainment, heartfelt remarks from community leaders, and a therapeutic exercise that both honors the journey of grief and celebrates the resilience, hope, and connections that bring us together.
“Grief touches us all, whether through the loss of loved ones, pets, health, relationships, or careers. With over 40 different types of losses one can experience in a lifetime, this day will honor our shared experiences and promote a culture of hope and healing across Bermuda.
