Sean Trott Delighted With BF&M 10K Time
Sean Trott said he was thrilled about his top ten finish in the BF&M Bermuda 10K at the weekend.
Trott’s time of 33min 43 was his second best in the annual race and the fourth fastest 10k time of his career.
“This past weekend represented a big step forward for me, as I was able to get back under 34 minutes in the 10k, on Bermuda soil,” he wrote on social media.
“For those that don’t know, I took a break from competitive running between 2013 and 2017 and built back from scratch after that.”
The 34-year-old said he has adjusted his training programme and will race less frequently this year, aiming to achieve “high quality” performances.
“Over the next few months, you can expect to see me chasing personal bests over various distances,” Trott added. “Watch this space!”
