Jamin Hodgkins In Pacific Pride Squad
Bermudian Jamin Hodgkins is preparing to make his debut for the Pacific Pride Academy, a high-performance rugby union programme in Canada.
The Academy aims to develop young Canada players and prepare them for professional careers at the highest level.
They compete in the British Columbia Men’s Premier League, a provincial competition featuring 12 clubs from British Columbia and one from Washington state.
The academy’s season starts on February 1 against the Castaway Wanderers RFC at Windsor Park.
Hodgkins, who is eligible for Canada, played for Luctonians First XV in the National 2 West – the fourth level of the English rugby union pyramid – this season.
The fly-half or fullback represented for Bridgend in the Welsh Indigo Premiership last term.
He is a former Bermuda Under-19 international and Warwick Academy student.
