Results: FA Challenge Cup First Round
Premier Division side Hamilton Parish defeated Corona League outfit Terrace Onions 4-1 in the FA Challenge Cup first round at the Wellington Oval.
Justin Bell gave Parish an early lead, but Conor McCrossan levelled for Onions before the interval.
In the second half, Leroy Lewis restored Parish’s lead before Yeferson Ibaraguen Ramirez extended the advantage.
Substitute Quinn Outerbridge added a late fourth to seal the win.
Meanwhile, Premier Division side Young Men Social Club defeated First Division team X-Roads 4-2 at Police Field.
Josh Hardtman gave Social Club the lead in the first minute. However, X-Roads fought back and equalised through Paul Simons before the break.
In the second half, Ryan Parris restored Social Club’s lead before Jinairo Johnson extended their advantage.
An own goal gave Social Club a 4-1 lead before X-Roads scored a late consolation goal.
Defending champions St George’s Colts enjoyed a 7-0 win over Corona League side Inter BDA FC at the Wellington Oval.
Senoj Mitchell scored a hat-trick, while Jahron Dickinson bagged a brace. Tah-Ki Tucker and Nzari Paynter also got on the scoresheet.
In an all-Premier Division clash at the Police Field, North Village secured a 2-0 win over Devonshire Colts.
Jonté Smith broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute before Jai Bean netted in the 89th minute.
Top-flight PHC Zebras overcome First Division side Somerset Trojans in a penalty shootout at Somerset Cricket Club.
The game ended 2-2 after regulation time, with Antonio Wade giving PHC the lead in the 21st minute.
Somerset responded with two quickfire goals from Kenyi Mills and Jaden Ratteray-Smith to take a 2-1 lead at half-time.
Enrique Russell levelled in the 73rd minute to send the game into penalties, which PHC won 4-1.
