Bermuda U17 Team Beat Saint Vincent

The Bermuda Under-17 national football team continued their winning start to their Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers after defeating Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Under-17 by a score of 5-1.

Stephanie Hunt opened the scoring to give Saint Vincent the lead in the 31st minute in the group A match at the Estadio Centroamericano in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.

Evan Welsh equalised from a free kick on the hour mark before Bermuda pulled ahead through goals from Milan Gibbons [2], Avani Patton and Keyandae Lightbourne.

Bermuda Under-17, who beat the Cayman Islands 2-0 in their opener, face Puerto Rico Under-17 tomorrow.

Puerto Rico beat the Cayman Islands 1-0 yesterday.
