Ethiopian Orthodox Christmas On January 6th
The Immanuel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church invites all to celebrate the Holy Feast of the Birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ with a Divine Liturgical Service on Monday [Jan 6] at 9:30 PM, followed by a feasting celebration.
A spokesperson said, “Good Day Members, Visitors & Friends, The Immanuel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church will be Celebrating The Holy Feast Day of the Birth of Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Church with a Divine Liturgical Holy Eucharistic Service on Monday Evening 6th January, 2025 at 9:30 pm.
“This will take place at #16 Old Military Road St. George’s at Our Church adjacent to the East End Primary School.
“All are invited & welcomed to attend. Immediately following there will be a Feasting Celebration at the Royal Artillery Association (RAA) Club to which all are invited to attend.
“Please join in contributing something edible to share.
“We also encourage you to bring gifts for Church use that may bring blessings for you and your Family such as charcoal and sweet incense grains [not stick], 12” tapered, pillar and mini / slim candles that we regularly use for the services. Monetary gifts are also welcomed.
“Please do remember that it is in giving that we receive, & come to join our celebration of the giving of Salvation to Mankind through the Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, the Righteous Saviour of the World … !!!”
