MMC Supports Hamilton SDA Feeding Program

Marsh McLennan [MMC] shared its continued support of the Hamilton SDA Church’s [HSDAC] feeding program.

A spokesperson said, “Marsh McLennan [MMC], a global leader in risk, strategy and people, is proud to share its continued support of the Hamilton SDA Church’s [HSDAC] feeding program. Since 2020, Marsh McLennan colleagues have volunteered their time and resources to support this vital initiative, helping to address food insecurity for some of the island’s most vulnerable residents.

“Marsh McLennan colleagues come together at least 12 times a year to prepare and serve meals. This effort not only ensures that meals are provided to those in need but also serves as a valuable team-building opportunity, allowing colleagues to collaborate outside the office environment.

“This December, as part of its Annual Holiday Giveback, Marsh McLennan colleagues continued their tradition of cooking and serving meals during the festive season. Additionally, the Company is fully funding the HSDAC’s annual Christmas Day feeding program and donating toys.”

HSDAC Director of the Feeding Program, Marva Trott, added: “We are so grateful to Marsh McLennan for their support over the years. Their generosity and dedication have helped us to provide meals to hundreds of individuals each week.”

The spokesperson said, “Each Wednesday, the HSDAC feeding program serves over 300 people, with many enjoying their meals on- site while others take their food to go. This initiative continues to be a vital resource for the community, bringing people together and providing sustenance and hope to those in need.”
