Ball Hockey: Hamilton Princess Defeats Appleby

The Hamilton Princess emerged victorious in the sole Bermuda Ball Hockey match of the day, defeating Appleby 7-3 at the PCC Hockey Rink.

Hamilton Princess established an early advantage, taking a 2-0 lead at the end of the first period courtesy of goals from Mathew Benson and Mathew Katzsch.

The second period saw Hamilton Princess extend their lead, outscoring Appleby 2-1. Katzsch and Benson both found the net for their second goals of the game, while Chris Merritt opened Appleby’s account.

Hamilton Princess continued their strong performance in the third period, scoring three more goals. Richard Campbell, Anthony Kapsimalis, and Benson, completing his hat-trick, all contributed to the scoreline. Appleby managed two consolation goals in the final period, with Merritt scoring his second and Rob Osborne adding another, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a convincing win for Hamilton Princess.
