Ball Hockey: Spine & Sport Defeat Frontier
In the lone Bermuda ball hockey winter league match at the PCC Hockey Rink, Spine & Sport defeated Frontier 7-3.
Spine & Sport got off to a flying start, taking a 2-0 lead in the first period courtesy of goals from Jake Goldberg and Ross Rufiage.
Frontier fought back in the second period, levelling the score at 2-2 with goals from James Amaral and Greg Vandermade.
The third period, however, belonged to Spine & Sport. They exploded for five goals, with Rufiage grabbing his second, Ryan Marshall netting a hat trick, and Jeremy Estey also getting on the scoresheet.
Amaral scored his second of the game for Frontier, but it wasn’t enough to stem the tide as Spine & Sport cruised to victory.
