Bermuda Under-17 Set For Final Qualifiers
The Bermuda Under-17 women’s national team have been pitted against Mexico, Haiti and Costa Rica in group A in the final round of the Concacaf World Cup qualifiers.
Mexico and Haiti are two of four teams pre-seeded by Concacaf.
The games will be played in Mexico from March 31 and April 6, with the winner advancing to the Under-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco in October and November.
The three group winners and the best second-place finisher will secure their place at the competition.
Bermuda progressed to the final round of the qualifiers after finishing as the best runner-up in the first phase of qualifying, with wins over Cayman Islands and St Vincent and the Grenadines and a close defeat to host nation Puerto Rico last month.
They will face Mexico on March 31 at the Federacíon Mexicana de Fútbol, Toluca, before playing Haiti on April 2 at the same venue.
Bermuda take on Costa Rica at the Federacíon Mexicana on April 5.
