Pitts Bay Rd Closure For Demolition On March 2

The Ministry of Public Works advised the motoring public that Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke will be closed to traffic on Sunday [March 2] to facilitate building demolition works.

A Government spokesperson said, “To accommodate building demolition works, a section of Pitts Bay Road will be closed between Woodbourne Avenue and Waterloo Lane from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• “Westbound traffic will be diverted via Woodbourne Avenue.
• “Eastbound traffic will be diverted via Rosemont Avenue.
• “Island Construction Services representatives will manage traffic control.

“Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and exercise caution in the area.”
