Age Concern Bermuda’s “Share the Love” campaign invites the community to donate and send heartfelt messages to support and uplift older adults this Valentine’s season.

A spokesperson said, “This Valentine’s Day and for the month of February, Age Concern Bermuda is calling on the community to make a difference in the lives of our older adults through our “Share the Love” campaign. The initiative calls on members of the public to donate and share encouraging and heartfelt messages to support older adults in our community.

“Many of Bermuda’s older adults experience loneliness or struggle to access essential services. Through this campaign, Age Concern aims to provide not only financial assistance but also emotional support to remind them that they are valued and cherished.

“We want every older adult in Bermuda to feel the love and appreciation. A simple Valentine’s message can brighten their day, and every donation helps us continue providing essential care and support.

“How to Participate:

“1. Donate – If you receive a pledge card, fill it out and send in to Age Concern Bermuda. Alternatively, visit ageconcern.bm/ShareTheLove to donate.

“2. Write a Message – Write and mail back or simply email in a kind Valentine’s note, which can be delivered to an older adult or added to our “Wall of Love” at the ACB headquarters.

“The community is encouraged to share their support on social media using #ShareTheLoveBDA to inspire others to join in.

“For more information or to donate, visit www.ageconcern.bm/sharethelove or call 238-7525.”
