Video: Blake Montgomery Scores For Knights
Blake Montgomery helped London Knights clinch a spot in the Ontario Hockey League [OHL] play-offs after scoring in a 5-3 win at home to the Kitchener Rangers yesterday [February 4].
Montgomery, who netted the third goal to make it 3-3, has been in superb form since joining the Knights on an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement in November.
The forward, who was drafted by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Ottawa Senators in June last year, has spent the past two seasons with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
The Knights became the first team to clinch a play-off spot. Their streak of consecutive play-off appearances is now at 25.
They are top of the Western Conference with 33 wins from 48 matches.
