80 Runs Scored In Softball Triple Header
The Michael Preece Softball Diamond witnessed a run-scoring bonanza as a Bermuda Softball Association triple header delivered 80 runs.
The opening clash set the tone for the evening, with the MoonGate Brewers unleashing a relentless offensive display to overpower the Beach Bum’s 24-8. Gary Adams and Gabe Peyton led the Brewers’ charge, both delivering exceptional performances at the plate. Adams went 3-for-5 with two home runs and six RBIs, while Peyton also went 4-for-5, hitting a double, a home run, and driving in six runs. Despite the Bum’s struggles, Jordan DeSilva managed a solid 3-for-4 performance with two RBIs.
The second match saw Platano Power overcome The Kings in a high-scoring encounter, winning 16-9. Yefer Binicio was the standout performer for Platano Power, going 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs. Les Dizwenka provided the highlight for The Kings, hitting a home run and driving in two runs in a 2-for-4 performance.
The final game of the night saw the Paraquet Flyers dominate the Hakuna Lions, securing a commanding 19-4 victory. Manuel Herrera and Edgar Guerrevo were the offensive stars for the Flyers, both going 3-for-4 with four RBIs. Herrera added a double and a home run to his tally, while Guerrevo hit a double. Shannon Rayner provided the highlight for the Hakuna Lions, hitting a home run and driving in three runs in a 1-for-2 performance.
