Bowling: Under, Spicenix, Invaders & Nifty Win
Week 23 of the continental bowling league saw league leaders Under Dawgs deliver a dominant performance, extending their advantage at the top of the table with a resounding victory at Warwick Lanes.
Under Dawgs faced third-placed Cubs and left no doubt about their intentions, securing a comprehensive 25.5 – 1.5 win. Elsewhere in the league, fourth-placed Spicenix overcame sixth-placed New Hope with a comfortable 22-5 victory, strengthening their grip on a top-four spot.
The Invaders, currently ninth, secured a valuable win against eighth-placed Sunset, taking the match 19.5 – 7.5, and second-placed Nifty Rollers also enjoyed a successful week, defeating fifth-placed Astronauts 23-4. Seventh-placed Odd Balls had a bye this week, giving them a chance to rest and regroup for the remaining matches.
