BUEI To Screen Award-Winning Films
BUEI adds March screenings of ‘Anora’, ‘The Waterboyz’, and ‘Conclave’ after Crime Stoppers Film Experience success.
A spokesperson said, “On the heels of a very successful Crime Stoppers 8th Annual Film Experience this past weekend, the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] will host additional screenings of ‘Anora’, ‘The Waterboyz’ and ‘Conclave’. All three films have recently made big headlines and played to a full house during the Crime Stoppers festival, thus creating community interest for additional screenings to be scheduled.
“‘Anora’, the 2025 Oscar Winner for Best Picture, has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 6:30pm. Ticket holders from the Crime Stoppers opening night on Thursday February 27 will have their tickets honoured for this weekend’s replay, and a limited number of additional tickets are available for purchase. The film is Rated R and runs for 2 hours 19 minutes. It features a young escort from Brooklyn who meets and impulsively marries the son of a Russian oligarch. This cutting-edge story is set in the streets of Atlanta [ATL] where two young men cross paths. One trying to make a legit living, while the other tries to create mayhem and rule the streets. The film is Unrated and runs for 1 hour 29 minutes.
“‘Conclave’, an Academy Award-Winning 2024 Thriller/Mystery, will have its second screening on Sunday, March 16 at 4pm.
