Dirk Hasselkuss Finishes Half Ironman 70.3
Dirk Hasselkuss has completed the gruelling Half Ironman 70.3 Puerto Rico, crossing the finish line in a time of 6 hours, 10 minutes, and 42 seconds.
Hasselkuss’ time placed him 333rd overall in a field of hundreds, and a commendable 9th in the highly competitive men’s 60-64 age group, which featured 25 competitors. He also finished as the 276th male overall out of 590 male athletes.
The event, renowned for its challenging course and stunning scenery, tested Hasselkuss’s endurance across a 1.2-mile swim which took 0:48:38, before clocking 2:50:48 on the 56-mile bike Course, he would complete the 13.1-mile run course in 2:19:49.
