Gnosis Bermuda Squash Championships Day 2
The Gnosis Bermuda National Squash Championships 2025 continued to provide exciting action at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association Club in Devonshire. Day two saw several closely fought matches, with four encounters going the distance and requiring a fifth set to determine the winner.
In the men’s open division, fifth seed Kristian Muldoon pulled off an upset, defeating fourth seed Anaya Smith in a five-set thriller. The match was a rollercoaster of momentum swings, with Muldoon eventually prevailing 13-11, 5-11, 11-9, 3-11, 12-10.
The women’s open division also witnessed a dramatic comeback, with fifth seed Sydney Wallace rallying from two sets down to defeat fourth seed Susie Howells. Wallace showed incredible resilience, winning 8-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-8, 11-5,
The men’s open bracket division saw Andrew Cox emerge victorious after a five-set battle against Jeffrey Olson. Cox won the match 11-13, 11-4, 11-13, 11-1, 11-9.
In the men’s B bracket division, Brian Darling defeated Quintin Venter in another five-set encounter. Darling secured the win with an 11-8, 4-11, 6-11, 11-6, 11-5 scoreline.
