Gnosis Bermuda Squash Championships Day 3
The third day of the 2025 Gnosis Bermuda National Squash Championships at the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association Club in Devonshire provided another evening of exciting and closely contested matches.
The men’s open bracket 2 division witnessed the longest match of the day, a 40-minute marathon. Armin De Weerdt defeated Jason Shrubb in a nail-biting encounter that showcased the players’ endurance and mental fortitude. De Weerdt eventually prevailed with a score of 11-7, 7-11, 11-5, 10-12, 14-12.
In the women’s open bracket 2 division, Suzanne Rose emerged victorious after a hard-fought 26-minute battle against Mckenna Kyme. Rose showed resilience and determination to win the match 11-3, 8-11, 5-11, 11-3, 11-7.
The men’s B bracket 2 division also produced a five-set thriller. Michael Schrah defeated Tariq Ahmed in a 30-minute encounter. Schrah ultimately secured the win with a scoreline of 11-4, 09-11, 11-4, 8-11, 11-1.
