Matthew Medeiros scored the winner for Hood.
In yesterday’s other group match, FC Rhinos at Terrace Onions drew 2-2.
Ross Orr and Jordan Guthrie scored for Onions, while Ezekiel Stoneham and Michael Armstrong netted for Rhinos.
