Four Bermudian archers delivered impressive performances at the Las Vegas Shoot on the Las Vegas strip at the weekend.

Jaydon Roberts, Camerin Pickering and Robert O’Connor competed in the Recurve Flights Division and Robin Selley in the Recurve Young Adult Female Division.

Following Selley’s sixth-place finish in her division, the Men’s Recurve Flights Division took centre stage, featuring 414 archers divided into 12 groups.

Roberts, competing in the elite Group 1, finished 32nd in the division after shooting 261 with a final score of 824/900.

Pickering won Group 2, shooting 287 on the final day, bringing his total score to 843/900.

O’Connor, competing in Group ten, finished 21st in his group with a final score of 670/900. He shot 232 on the final day.

The five-day competition is the largest and most prestigious indoor archery competition in the world, with more than 5,000 competitors ranging from beginner to Olympic champions participating.

The event was held at three adjacent Vegas venues – the Paris and Horseshoe casinos, and the Planet Hollywood resort.
