Open Mat Fighters Competing In Florida
Thirteen fighters from Open Mat Bermuda are competing at the Pan International Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Kissimmee, Florida.
Organised by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation, the event started yesterday [March 19] and runs until Sunday.
The travelling team includes Georgina Martin [master one white belt, middle heavyweight], Ryan Hopkins [male adult belt, middleweight], Jahmali Bridgewater [adult white belt, heavyweight], Noah Vieira [male adult purple, lightweight], Natalie Angeli [master three white belt, middleweight], Michael Walsh [master four white belt, ultra middleweight], Sydney Mason [female adult blue belt, middle heavyweight], Greg Maybury [master one blue belt, lightweight], James Adams [master two blue belt, super-heavyweight], Reina Maypa [adult purple belt, lightweight], Lonnie Bascome [master three brown belt, lightweight], Chris Reagan [master four black belt, super-heavyweight], and Leonard Scudder [master two purple belt, ultra heavyweight].
