Montgomery’s Knights Win Final Home Game
Blake Montgomery and the London Knights beat Windsor Spitfires 6-2 in their final Ontario Hockey League [OHL] regular-season home yesterday [March 21].
London have claimed 112 points, ranking them second all-time in franchise history behind only the 2004-05 Knights.
Montgomery has been in fine form since joining the Knights on an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement in November last year.
Drafted by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Ottawa Senators in June, Montgomery has spent the past two seasons with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
London will complete their regular-season schedule with a road game against the Erie Otters tomorrow.
The Knights are top of the Western Conference with 55 wins from 67 games.
