Football: Bermuda Defeated By Honduras
The Bermuda national football team were defeated 2-0 away to Honduras in the Concacaf Gold Cup preliminary round in Tegucigalpa yesterday [March 25].
Head coach Michael Findlay’s side lost 7-3 on aggregate, having lost the first leg 5-3 at the Flora Duffy Stadium last week.
Jorge Benguché and Luis Palma scored for Honduras in the 53rd and 57th minutes.
Bermuda will turn their attentions to the World Cup qualifiers against the Cayman Island on June 4.
