This milestone not only marks a personal achievement for Mr. Lynch-Wade but also reflects BermudAir’s commitment to developing local talent and strengthening Bermuda’s presence in global aviation.
“Mr. Lynch-Wade successfully navigated his first commercial flight on Monday, March 24, 2025, onboard BermudAir’s 2T551/552 non-stop Bermuda to Baltimore service.

He then completed flight training at Delta Connection Academy; his career includes 14 years [2010–2024] at the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority [BCAA], where he attained the position of Director of Operations.”
“Tariq’s journey is an inspiration, and we are incredibly proud to welcome him to our flight deck,” said Adam Scott, Founder & CEO of BermudAir. “From his leadership in aviation safety to his passion for mentoring future pilots, Tariq’s transition into a full-time pilot role is not just a personal achievement, but a historic moment for our airline and Bermuda’s aviation community.”
The spokesperson said, “Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Lynch-Wade has been a driving force in inspiring the next generation of Bermudian aviators.
