Trey Mallory Helps Wilmington Beat Drexel
Trey Mallory and his University of North Carolina Wilmington men’s tennis team continued their superb form after extending their winning streak to four matches with a 5-2 victory over Drexel University at the UNCW Courts.
In the doubles, Mallory partnered with Alex de Gabriele in the No 1 spot.
They were narrowly defeated by Roman Lafond and Alex De Sousa in a thrilling match that ended 7-6.
However, Mallory, in the No 3 spot, bounced back strongly in the singles.
After dropping the first set, he mounted a comeback, defeating De Gabriele 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
