Ebbin & Tulane Finish 4th At Szambecki Race
Christian Ebbin and his Tulane sailing teammates faced a difficult final day at the Aaron Szambecki team race, hosted by Old Dominion University, ultimately finishing the regatta in fourth place.
The day commenced with 10-15 knot winds from the North-Northeast, providing challenging conditions for the sailors. The regatta organizers completed the top six/bottom four round by midday, before transitioning to a final four race, which was sailed in lighter 8-10 knot winds from the Northeast.
Ebbin and his Tulane teammates experienced a tough day on the water, winning only one race and losing six. This performance resulted in them dropping from their previous day’s position to finish the regatta in fourth place overall.
