Single Lane Closure On Palmetto Road

The Ministry of Public Works and Environment announced a single-lane closure on Palmetto Road from March 12–13 for rock cut stabilisation works.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment wishes to inform the motoring public that there will be a single-lane closure on Palmetto Road in Pembroke Parish, in the vicinity of the underpass, to accommodate rock cut stabilisation works.

“The lane closure will commence on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, and will be ongoing until Thursday, March 13, 2025. Working hours will be between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

“Traffic control will be under the direction of the Ministry of Public Works and Environment representatives.

“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes via Marsh Folly Road, Bishop Spencer Road, Border Lane North, and Roberts Avenue.

“Motorists who wish to traverse through the closure area should expect delays and are advised to exercise caution.

“The Ministry of Public Works and Environment encourages the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.
