Free Lunchtime Concert On March 18

The U.S. Consulate and the Anglican Cathedral will host a free lunchtime concert on March 18, featuring Harvard’s renowned a cappella groups, the Krokodiloes and Radcliffe Pitches.

A spokesperson said, “The U.S. Consulate and the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity [Anglican Cathedral] invite school groups, residents and visitors of all ages to attend a free daytime concert on Tuesday, March 18, at 12:30 p.m. The event will feature a vibrant performance by the Harvard Krokodiloes and the Radcliffe Pitches.”

Harvard University’s oldest a Capella groups return to Bermuda to continue their traditional Spring Break tour by performing an entertaining blend of harmony and humor for audiences at different venues across the island. “Special thanks to Bishop Dill and Canon Jerry Smith for their continued support in making the Cathedral available for the public to experience these dynamic performers. I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy live entertainment over their lunch hour,” says Acting U.S. Consul General Vanja Vukota.

The spokesperson said, “Admission to the concert is free at the Cathedral. As two of Harvard University’s most distinguished a Capella groups, the Kroks and Pitches have performed for audiences in the United States, Norway, Denmark, Germany, and France. The traditional visit reinforces the longstanding educational ties between the United States and Bermuda. The Consulate continues to promote higher education opportunities in the United States through its ‘Study with US’ campaign, which spotlights Bermudian students currently studying at U.S. colleges and universities, as well as Bermudian alumni of U.S. institutions.
