W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium Temporary Closure
The W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium will be temporarily closed on March 27 for essential BELCO maintenance, with a possible extension to March 28 in case of inclement weather.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Sport and Recreation would like to advise the public that the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium will be temporarily closed on Thursday, March 27, 2025, for essential BELCO maintenance. The closure will take place from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, during which time there will be no power or running water, and all facilities, including courts, restrooms, and administrative offices, will be inaccessible.
“In the event of inclement weather preventing the scheduled maintenance, the closure will be extended to Friday, March 28, 2025, during the same hours.
“The goal is to have the facility fully operational by 5:30 PM on the scheduled maintenance day. However, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We will promptly communicate any changes to the reopening time.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we undertake these necessary improvements.
