Bermuda Defeated By Canada In T20
The Bermuda national cricket team lost to Canada by five wickets in their opening match of the North America Cup in the Cayman Islands yesterday [April 19].
Bermuda, having won the toss, posted a total of 105 for the loss of eight wickets.
Captain Terryn Fray anchored the Bermuda innings with a half-century, scoring 52 off 54 balls, including four boundaries.
Delray Rawlins was the only other batsman to reach double figures, contributing 34 off 37 balls, hitting two sixes.
Kaleem Sana was the pick of the Canada bowlers, claiming four wickets for just 17 runs.
In reply, Canada scored 106 for five from 18.1 overs.
Harsh Thaker top-scored for Canada with 36 off 34 balls.
Jermal Proctor was the most economical of the Bermuda attack, conceding 11 runs off three overs and claiming one wicket.
Bermuda face the Cayman Island today.
