Ascot Group Appoints Marc Amen
Ascot Group has appointed Marc Amen as Chief Executive Officer, North America, effective later this year, with responsibility for its U.S. and Bermuda insurance and reinsurance operations.
A spokesperson said, “Ascot Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Amen as Chief Executive Officer, North America, effective upon completion of his current obligations later this year.
“In this role, Marc will have ultimate responsibility for all operating facets of the Ascot U.S. and Ascot Bermuda insurance and reinsurance companies. He will also serve as a member of the Ascot Group Executive Committee and will report directly to Group CEO & President Jonathan Zaffino.”

The spokesperson said, “Marc joins the organization from RenaissanceRe, where he was responsible for managing the underwriting and key operational aspects of the company’s U.S. platform. He brings to Ascot 24 years of underwriting and leadership experience, having held previous positions at Alterra Re, Harbor Point Re and Chubb Re.”
