Bowling: Nifty, Under, Odd Balls & Invaders Win
Week 28 of the continental bowling league season at Warwick Lanes saw significant shifts in the standings as top teams competed.
Second-place Nifty Rollers recorded a decisive 26-1 victory over seventh-place New Hope.
League leaders Under Dawgs continued their strong performance, defeating fourth-place Astronauts by a score of 16-10. This result maintains Under Dawgs’ position at the top of the league.
Elsewhere, sixth-place Odd Balls secured a convincing 22-5 win against ninth-place Sunset. Eighth-place Invaders upset third-place Cubs with a score of 17.5 to 9.5. Fifth-place Spicenix had a bye during Week 28.
The results of Week 28 indicate a tightening competition at the top of the league, with Nifty Rollers reducing the gap behind Under Dawgs.
