“Bubbles of Information: Connected Through the Heart of St. George’s” addresses our ongoing efforts to bridge communication gaps in the community. Despite regular events, many residents report not hearing about them.

“Our dedicated website at www.corpstgeorge.bm now serves as a central hub where different information streams merge into a complete picture. From the Town Manager’s Desk, we invite you to attend monthly General Council Meetings held on the fourth Thursday of every month for updates on projects including repairs on Bridge Street, Somers Garden Wall, and the re-landscaping of Ordnance Island Roundabout.

“April Fools’ Day reminds us that St. Georgians have always been fun, patriotic, and a little territorial – with a streak of defiance underneath their warm hospitality. Looking ahead to town events, mark your calendars for the historic Peppercorn Ceremony on Wednesday, April 23rd at 10:30 AM in King’s Square, the Walk to Calvary Experience from April 16-21, the 38th Annual Convex End-to-End starting from St. George’s Town Square on May 3, and the Bermuda Day Parade and Half Marathon Derby on May 23.

“Our spotlight features include the UNESCO-recognized Unfinished Church, a picturesque ruin with construction dating back to 1874 that has become a popular wedding venue; the White Horse Pub & Restaurant, located in the historic Esten House, which remains a St. George’s landmark with recent revitalization by Dennie O’Connor and his team; and Councillor Tianny Butterfield, a passionate community leader who serves our community with her deep commitment to St. George’s growth and prosperity.
