Warwick Academy’s 2025 Fun Run & Walk brought together 555 participants for a spirited morning of racing and community celebration, raising funds for student sports and education bursaries.
A spokesperson said, “Under bright skies and a wave of community spirit, Warwick Academy hosted its highly anticipated Fun Run & Walk 2025 on Sunday, April 27th. The event saw an impressive turnout with 555 participants of all ages taking part in the 1.5K, 3K, and 5K races, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere throughout the morning.
“The event kicked off at 8:30 AM from Warwick Academy, with the course running along a closed section of Harbour Road. Runners and walkers alike were cheered on by enthusiastic supporters, and the sun made a welcome appearance, setting the perfect scene for a memorable community event.
“All proceeds from the event will go directly toward sports & education bursaries for students who attend Warwick Academy and represent Bermuda in athletic activities, helping to support and develop the island’s future sports stars.
“A big thank you goes out to all who participated, volunteered, and especially to our sponsors: BGA, Kellogg’s, Pitt & Company Ltd., FIJI Water, and Lindo’s Group of Companies.
“Your support made this event not only possible but incredibly impactful.”
