Rams, Trojans, Bascome Win Knock-Out Titles

Bernard Park was the setting for the Bermuda Football Association’s Appleby Youth Knock-Out finals, featuring three matches that included two decided by penalty shootouts.

The Under 13 B Final resulted in a decisive 8-0 victory for the North Village Rams over X-Road’s. Chaz Edmead scored a first-half hat-trick for the Rams, with Daley Outerbridge, Jahroy Woods-Lottimore, Makai Tucker, Demetri Benjamin, and Yasin Smith also scoring. Xavi Dill of North Village Rams was named the Most Valuable Player [MVP], while Remy Furbert received the MVP award for X-Road’s.

The Under 13 A Final saw Somerset Trojans defeat FC Bascome in a penalty shootout after a scoreless draw in regulation time. Somerset Trojans won the shootout 4-1. Darien Lambert of Somerset Trojans was named MVP, and Deari Trott was the MVP for FC Bascome.

The Under 15 Final also required penalties to determine the winner between FC Bascome and the North Village Rams, following a 1-1 draw after regulation time. Jeon Wolfe scored first for FC Bascome in the 4th minute, but Malik Paynter equalized for the North Village Rams in the 76th minute. FC Bascome won the penalty shootout 5-4. Skylar Peixoto of FC Bascome was named MVP, and Kaiyuri Albouy received the MVP award for the North Village Rams.
