Scooter Mart Motor Fest To Be Held On June 29

The Scooter Mart Motor Fest presented by Bermuda Charge, will rev into action on Sunday, June 29, from 2pm to 7pm along Front Street.

A spokesperson said, “Now in its seventh year, the highly anticipated festival showcases Bermuda’s unique blend of motor culture, creativity, and community spirit. Organised by Bermuda Charge, the event promises an unforgettable experience for enthusiasts, families, and visitors alike.

“Scooter Mart Motor Fest will open to the public at 2pm, with Warwick Gombeys building excitement for an explosive festival opener, the Mailboxes SEND IT Stunt Show, featuring international rider Clutchup Corey on a 600cc Yamaha R6. This will be a free exhibition for the community to enjoy, and will repeat two more times during the day.

“Judging for “Best in Show” vehicles starts immediately afterwards, and meanwhile the festival will host a variety of entertainment, including:

  • Power boat racing in Hamilton Harbour
  • Dozens of vintage and modern cars
  • Hundreds of custom and classic bikes
  • Mr Fotogenik, DJ Chubb and DJ Cheeky
  • Drag bikes, motorsports and BMX demonstrations
  • Aerial acrobatics by Natural Movement
  • Bermi Cars Eco Village
  • Remote control car racing in Number 1 Car Park
  • The CG Slow Race [slowest rider across 50 feet]
  • St George’s Original Dancerettes
  • End-of-show mass charity ride-out

“Scooter Mart Motor Fest has become a beloved annual tradition that celebrates our vibrant bike, car and boat culture,” said David Cahill, Event Director at Bermuda Charge. “This year’s event will be more spectacular than ever, bringing together custom and classic bikes, vintage cars, power boats, and the passionate individuals who enjoy celebrating Bermuda’s unique motoring heritage. We’re welcoming back Isle of Man TT winner Steve Plater as a guest this year. Steve’s previous visit was in 2019 when the venue was Clearwater Beach – he’s really excited to return to Bermuda and experience the festival vibes on Front Street!”

A spokesperson added, “Scores of vendors will be in attendance, offering everything from delicious food and drinks, to auto parts and eco-friendly products. The Bermi Cars Eco Village will highlight innovative tech solutions, including electric cars and bikes, healthy food options and sustainable living solutions.

“To cap off the day, the charity motorcade will take place at 6:45 PM, with 300+ riders participating in a scenic 30 minute tour from Front Street to Flatts and back. Participant ticket sales support donations to local youth performers involved in the show, and environmental charity Greenrock.

“This year’s Scooter Mart Motor Fest also marks the continuation of Bermuda Charge’s successful partnership with Scooter Mart as the title sponsor. The company’s commitment to the event reflects its dedication to fostering community engagement and supporting local businesses.”
