May 1, 2025 | 0 Comments

Road resurfacing at the entrance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital’s Acute Care Wing will cause temporary disruption to pedestrian and vehicle access from Saturday [May 3] to Monday, May 12.

A spokesperson said, “Road resurfacing works along the entrance to the Acute Care Wing [ACW] of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital [KEMH] will impact both pedestrian and vehicular traffic using the ACW main entrance road. Please use caution as both the roadway and the pedestrian sidewalk will be narrowed to facilitate the works.

“Disruption for these works will start on Saturday 3 May and last until Monday 12 May.

“Designated parking for clergy, People’s ACW [pharmacy], taxis and 4 handicap bays will not be available from Saturday 3 – Monday 12 May 2025. We request that all visitors use the main visitor parking lot.

“We apologise for any disruption this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.”
