Lady Trojans Win Women’s Division Opener
The Somerset Lady Trojans secured a 3-1 victory over the PHC Lady Zebras as the Bermuda Football Association’s Women’s Division season commenced at the Clyde Best Center of Excellence Field.
Somerset established an early lead as Katherine Bean-Rosario scored for the Lady Trojans in the 19th minute, followed four minutes later by Symira Lowe-Darrell, giving Somerset a 2-0 advantage at halftime.
Lowe-Darrell extended Somerset’s lead to 3-0 with her second goal 25 minutes into the second half. Jasmine Spence scored for the PHC Lady Zebras in stoppage time, bringing the final score to 3-1.
