Southampton Rangers, Somerset Bridge, Western Stars, St. David’s Cricket Club, Bailey’s Bay, and Somerset Cricket Club emerged victorious in their respective First Division and Premier Division matches.

Southampton Rangers recorded a 52-run victory over Warwick Workmen’s Club in First Division action at Southampton Oval on Saturday. Danté Wellman led the Rangers’ batting effort with a score of 52, contributing to their total of 187 for six wickets. Warwick Workmen’s Club responded with 135 for seven wickets, despite a knock of 48 from Cory Burgess. Jahmari Beach claimed two wickets for Southampton Rangers.

In a low-scoring First Division encounter at Wellington Oval, Somerset Bridge Recreation Club edged out Willow Cuts by a single run. Callum Mcintosh’s 28 was the top score for Somerset Bridge, who posted 120 for six wickets. Ras Solomon Burrows’s 42 was not enough for Willow Cuts, as they finished their innings at 119 for seven wickets. Donnie Charles took two wickets for Somerset Bridge.

Western Stars defeated Flatt’s Victoria by 39 runs in a reduced First Division match at Devonshire Recreation Club. Ryan Tyrell’s quickfire 48 propelled Western Stars to 126 for three wickets in 13 overs. Flatt’s Victoria managed 87 for eight wickets in their response, with both Jermaine Clarke and Kijuan Franks scoring 26. Kevin Hurdle was the standout bowler for Western Stars, taking four wickets.

In Premier Division action at Wellington Oval, St. David’s Cricket Club secured a comfortable six-wicket victory over St. George’s Cricket Club. Justin Pitcher’s four-wicket haul restricted St. George’s to 95 for nine wickets. St. David’s successfully chased the target, with Isaiah O’Brien leading the way with 27 runs. Nzari Paynter took three wickets for St. George’s but could not prevent the loss.

Bailey’s Bay claimed a dominant 122-run victory over Cleveland County at Southampton Oval in Premier Division play. Delray Rawlins’s explosive 70 guided Bailey’s Bay to 193 for five wickets. Cleveland County were limited to 71 for five wickets in their reply. Rodney Trott took two wickets for Bailey’s Bay.

Somerset Cricket Club defeated Devonshire Recreation Club by 32 runs in a reduced 16-over Premier Division match at Devonshire Recreation Club. Amari Ebbin’s 48 was instrumental in Somerset’s total of 120 for five wickets. Devonshire Recreation Club responded with 88 for five wickets. Dominic Sabir took three wickets for Somerset.
