Village Claim Victory In U23 League
Devonshire Colts drew 2-2 with Somerset Trojans in the Bermuda Football Association Under-23 Summer League at Goose Gosling Field on Wednesday.
Sekai Tatem opened the scoring for Colts in the 26th minute before Enrique Mendes equalised for Trojans three minutes later.
Daniel Bell gave Colts a 2-1 lead in the 32nd minute before Keyni Mills levelled in the 41st minute.
Meanwhile, North Village defeated Wolves 3-2, also at Goose Gosling Field.
Owen Botelho gave Village the lead in the 21st minute before Kydan Browne levelled in the 45th minute; however, Jayce Basden scored Village’s scored second almost immediately to give his side a 2-1 lead at the interval.
After the break, Torque Outerbridge levelled for Wolves in the 63rd minute before Botelho netted his second in the 91st minute to hand Village the win.
