Notice: Lane Closure On Happy Valley Road
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised the public of an upcoming lane closure on Happy Valley Road in Devonshire to “facilitate emergency cleanup and repair.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The operation, being carried out by Island Construction Services, is scheduled for Saturday, 17 May 2025, and, depending on progress, could continue into Sunday, 18 May 2025. The repairs are required following a wall collapse at 58 Happy Valley Road.
“Working hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 6:00 p.m. Traffic controls will be in place and managed by Island Construction Services personnel using barriers, signage, traffic lights, and stop-and-go guidance.
“Motorists are encouraged to proceed cautiously and follow all posted signs and instructions from onsite personnel. Please take a look at the attached Road Traffic Notice for more information.”
