Lane Closure Scheduled For Palmetto Road
A single lane closure on Palmetto Road under the Glebe Road Bridge in Pembroke will take place from May 26 to 30 for bridge repairs, with work scheduled between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment wishes to inform the motoring public that there will be a single lane closure on Palmetto Road underneath the Glebe Road Bridge in Pembroke Parish, to accommodate bridge repair works.
“The lane closure will commence on Monday, May 26th, 2025, and will be ongoing until Friday, May 30th, 2025. Working hours will be between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
“Traffic control will be under the direction of the Sunrise Construction Ltd representatives.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes via Marsh Folly Road and Bishop Spencer Road.
“Motorists who wish to traverse through the closure area should expect delays and are advised to exercise caution.
“The Ministry of Public Works and Environment encourages the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.
