Outerbridge Wins Two Silver Medals At FHSAA
Bermudian sprinters Miles Outerbridge and Arima Turner, representing Montverde Academy, participated in the Florida High School Athletic Association [FHSAA] 2A region 2 track meet.
Outerbridge won two silver medals in the sprint competitions. He finished second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.65 seconds. He also claimed second place in the varsity 200-meter dash, clocking in at 21.44 seconds.
Turner competed in the girls’ sprint events. She placed seventh in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.48 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, Turner finished in 12th position with a time of 26.77 seconds.
