Softball: BGA, OddBalls & Bat & Bougie Win
High-scoring softball action unfolded at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond, with three games producing a total of 79 runs.
In the first game, the BGA Hammers defeated the B&V Sliders 19-2. Jackee Simons led the Hammers’ offense, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run, and three RBIs. Zakai McIntosh had two hits and one RBI for the Sliders.
The second game saw the OddBalls edge out the One Hit Wonders 19-18. Adam Fenos went 6-for-6 with a double, a triple, a home run, and four RBIs for the OddBalls. Samuel Vieira had three hits, including a double and a home run, and five RBIs for the One Hit Wonders.
In the final game, Bat & Bougie defeated the Slug Pirates 18-3. Callum Maule led Bat & Bougie with a 3-for-4 performance, including a double, a home run, and six RBIs. Graham Gibbons had two hits and one RBI for the Slug Pirates.
