Softball: Team Smokey, Pitch, Raggamuffins Win
The Michael Preece Softball Diamond hosted three high-scoring Bermuda Softball League games, with a total of 60 runs scored.
In the first contest, the Pitch Invaders defeated the Fundamental Standpoints 17-9. Kontai Burton paced the Pitch Invaders’ offense with a 4-for-4 performance, including a double, a triple, and a home run, driving in six runs.
The Raggamuffins dominated the second game, defeating the Bad News Beers 22-4. John Payne led the Raggamuffins, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, and seven RBIs. Granville Lines went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs for the Bad News Beers.
The final game saw Team Smokey claim a 21-6 victory over Killa Watts. Deigo McCallan led Team Smokey’s offense with a 3-for-3 night, including a double, a home run, and five RBIs. Andre Landy also went 3-for-3 for Killa Watts, hitting a home run and driving in three runs.
