Waldron Drives In Five Qualifying Races
Bermudian harness pony racing driver Kiwon Waldron had a busy morning of qualifying races at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana, participating in five events across both the trot and pace disciplines.
Waldron’s day began in race 3, a qualifier in the trot class. He was in the sulky behind Enchanted Mission, guiding the horse to a sixth-place finish with a time of 1 minute, 58 and two-fifths of a second [1:58.2].
He then moved to the pace class for race 5, partnering with Midnite’s Pro. The duo finished in fifth place, clocking an identical time of 1 minute, 58 and two-fifths of a second [1:58.2].
Waldron’s third drive came in race 6, another pace class qualifier, this time with Reign Of Midnight. They finished further back in ninth place with a time of 2 minutes and three-fifths of a second [2:00.3].
Returning to the pace class for race 11, Waldron was in the bike of Bunkerhill Lil. They crossed the finish line in seventh place with a time of 1 minute and 59 flat [1:59.0].
His final qualifying drive of the morning came in race 13, another pace class event, where Waldron partnered with Firing Onall Fours. They finished in eighth place with a time of 1 minute, 56 and three-fifths of a second [1:56.3].
