The Bermuda Cricket Board has approved St. David’s County Cricket Club’s request to postpone matches on June 15 and 22, as five of their players are representing Bermuda in international competition.

A spokesperson said, “The Executive Committee of the Bermuda Cricket Board has approved the request by St. David’s County Cricket Club to postpone their matches scheduled for June 15th and 22nd. The request was approved based on St. David’s County Cricket Club having 5 members of their playing squad off island and unavailable, due to BCB/ICC National Team commitments.

“The BCB notes that the Bermuda Football Association adheres to a policy of 4 playing members to postpone a match if they are on BFA [FIFA-Concacaf] international duty. The BCB notes that St. David’s County Cricket Club has the following 5 members on ICC international duty.

  • 1. Onias Bascome
  • 2. Derrick Brangman
  • 3. Kevon Fubler
  • 4. Tre Manders
  • 5. Marcus Scotland

“We appreciate your support and wish our team much success as we prepare to qualify for the 2026 World Cup with the opening match starting on Sunday, June 15th in Ontario, Canada.”
