Govt House Hosts King’s Birthday Event
Government House welcomed members of the community to celebrate the King’s 77th birthday.
Government House posted the photos online below, and said, “Government House welcomed a wide cross-section of the community to celebrate the 77th birthday of His Majesty The King.
“Over 300 guests attended the celebration in the garden of the temporary residence, including a significant number who had applied through the online public ballot.
“Guests were entertained by musical selections performed wonderfully by members of the Bermuda Philharmonic and Royal Bermuda Regiment. These were followed by brilliant performances on the Steel Pan and H & H Gombey Troupe. Treats were supplied from local businesses, including cookies from Ahmani Cookie Company [2025 Best Baker], homemade ice cream from Bermuda Bubble Tea, and specially crafted beer by Moongate Brewery.
“In his first King’s Birthday party reception in Bermuda, the Governor spoke of His Majesty’s keen interest in, and fondness for, Bermuda. He was also pleased to announce, thanks to great progress in the repair work, next year’s reception will be back on the grounds of Government House: the extra space will provide even more opportunities for members of the Bermudian public to attend.”
That looks fun. Thanks for the pictures. I love the Salvation Army band. Nerding out bye.
